When Nature Is Tested
When a storm struck Italy, around 15 million trees were destroyed, permanently reshaping the forests entirely. Beyond the visible damage, the storm raised urgent questions about land management, reconstruction, and responsibility.
For Barausse, whose work is deeply connected to wood and Italian craftsmanship, that storm was a moment of reflection. Wood is not simply a resource — it is a living material shaped by time, care, and balance with nature.
This awareness led to Bosco Porta Natura.

Regenerating What Was Lost
Bosco Porta Natura is Barausse’s reforestation initiative, created in response to the devastation caused by Storm Vaia. Through the planting of new trees in affected areas, the project supports the recovery of damaged ecosystems and promotes long-term environmental resilience.
It is a commitment rooted not in symbolism, but in action.

From Forest to Home
The journey from forest to home requires responsibility at every step. Barausse’s use of FSC®-certified wood ensures materials are sourced from responsibly managed forests, while Bosco Porta Natura completes this cycle, giving back to the landscapes that make craftsmanship possible. A design is not separate from nature, it is part of it.
This revealed the fragility of our natural systems. Bosco Porta Natura reflects Barausse’s belief that true design responsibility extends beyond the product itself.
From forest to home, every choice matters, because design that respects nature helps protect the future it belongs to.
